No decision yet at Haydock Haydock Park`s meeting on Saturday still hangs in the balance with a decision on the exact nature of the card expected tomorrow. The course hopes to stage a Flat fixture but the track is currently waterlogged and a switch to a jumps programme is being considered. 'We will make a decision at noon tomorrow,' said clerk of the course Kirkland Tellwright. 'If the Flat course is not fit for racing we will switch to a jumps card.' If racing goes ahead on the Flat, it will be a series of five and six-furlong contests because the back straight and top bend of the course are currently unraceable. Officials at Kempton, where the sprint races for Saturday`s meeting have already been scrapped, are optimistic the meeting will go ahead. Clerk of the course Brian Clifford said: 'All the sprint races have been called off because of the continuous effects of waterlogging. 'We are heavy at present but the forecast is more upbeat and we should be soft, heavy in places by the weekend.'
