No decision yet on Approach Jim Bolger has yet to make a decision on the participation of New Approach in Sunday´s Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby. Having produced an excellent performance to win the English equivalent at Epsom earlier in the month, the son of Galileo was installed a red-hot favourite to strike again at the Curragh. However, Bolger revealed on Friday evening that New Approach was not 100% comfortable in his box, casting some doubt over whether he would make the starting line-up in this weekend´s Classic. Speaking on Saturday morning, Bolger explained: "There´s no update and nothing really to add to what I said yesterday evening. "There is less heat in the foot and we are treating it." New Approach currently trades at a best-priced 6-5 with Blue Square for the Irish Derby, with Epsom runner-up Tartan Bearer next in the market at 5-2.
