No surprises as 12 stay in Queen Mother

Mansony, Newmill and Schindlers Hunt are among the 12 entries to have stood their ground at the five-day stage in the Seasons Holidays Queen Mother Champion Chase.

There are no surprises defectors as the Paul Nicholls-trained pair Twist Magic and Master Minded, as well as reigning champion Voy Por Ustedes, are included in the dozen.

Robert Thornton rates Voy Por Ustedes, who also won the Arkle in 2006, his best ride of the week at the Festival.

"He´s a solid two-miler and he sees out the trip very well and they will go a good clip at Cheltenham. There´s horses in there that will make it like Newmill and Fair Along.

"I´m sure he´ll be bang there at the last," he told At The Races.

David Pipe has left in Tamarinbleu, winner of the Victor Chandler Chase, but he also has the option of the Ryanair Chase.

Fair Along, Lennon and former Arkle winner Contraband remain as do Azulejo and Fustrien du Paon.
