Nominations for the 2022 Irish Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards sponsored by Godolphin close on Monday, August 15 at 5pm.

Nominations can be made online at www.itiea.org and offer €62,000 in prize money along with the beautifully crafted Ani Mollereau bronzes. 2022 marks the seventh year of Godolphin’s sponsorship of these awards which will take place on Tuesday, 25 October in the Keadeen Hotel in Newbridge, Co Kildare.

Sandra Hughes, Godolphin’s Irish Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards Ambassador is available for any queries or questions about the nomination process.

CEO of the Irish Stablestaff Association, Bernard Caldwell said: “With only a week to go to the nominations deadline, I would encourage everyone in the industry, including stud and stable staff, trainers, breeders, owners, and managers to nominate their colleagues to acknowledge and reward the wonderful work of our stud and stable staff. Online nomination is easy and only takes a few minutes but must be completed by the deadline of 5pm next Monday.”

The Irish Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards sponsored by Godolphin were formerly known as the Irish Godolphin Stud and Stable Staff Awards. The awards have been reshaped and rebranded and the categories have been simplified and replaced with eight Irish Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards which all nominees are eligible for. The Irish Racing Excellence Award winner will be selected from the eight Irish Thoroughbred Industry Employee Award winners. In addition, the Racecourse Award will also be retained.
