O'Brien well represented in Classic trials

Aidan O`Brien will unveil more Classic hopefuls at Leopardstown on Sunday.

The Dublin track stages the Listed 1000 and 2000 Guineas trials over a mile and the Ballydoyle handler could be well-represented in both.

O`Brien has as many as 10 in the colts` trial with Century City, Della Francesca, Landseer, Maderno, Roar Of The Tiger, Sahara Desert, Salentino, Stonemason, Temple Of Artemis and Ursa Minor among the 16 preliminary entries.

Sophisticat, who was a seven-length second to Sagitta 1000 Guineas favourite Queens Logic in last year`s Cheveley Park Stakes, heads O`Brien`s list of five runners in the fillies` equivalent.

She is entered along with 1000 Guineas possibles Alstemeria and Pietra Dura and Rockfel Stakes second Lahinch.

Vodafone Oaks hope Maryinsky, who finished a two and a half length second to Luca Cumani`s Gossamer in the Meon Stud Fillies` Mile at Ascot in September, may also take her place in the line-up.

O`Brien also has Racing PostTrophy winner High Chaparral and Sorcerous among seven possible runners in the Listed Ballysax Stakes over one mile and two furlongs on the same card.
