Oaks Hope for Murtagh

Johnny Murtagh hopes Adored can continue her progress in Friday´s Juddmonte Oaks at Epsom.

He had a staggering sextet to pick from as Aidan O´Brien´s first choice jockey and eventually selected his mount over Ice Queen, Moonstone, Sail, Savethisdanceforme and Tiffany Diamond.

The Irishman went for the daughter of Galileo, a winner of her last two starts including the Group Three Blue Wind Stakes at Naas, after weighing up each candidate.

"We have six fillies in the Oaks and Aidan let me ride them all the other morning and she was the one that I picked out of all the lot of them," said Murtagh.

"She´s a big filly by Galileo, she´s won a Group Three race at Naas and she´s in really good form at the moment. I hope I´m on the right one."
