Options open for Davoski Leading Ladbroke Trophy fancy Davoski is far from a definite runner in the race according to Barry Simpson, racing manager to owner Sir Robert Ogden. The eight-year-old, a 7-1 chance with the sponsors, came home a promising third to Turgeonev in the Victor Chandler Chase at Ascot earlier this month on his first run since finishing unplaced in the same event 12 months earlier.Simpson admitted today plans for Saturday`s #50,000 Cheltenham contest are not certain but he has earmarked two alternative races for the Venetia Williams-trained gelding. He said: 'It`s one of the options but we`re not making a decision until Friday morning and I`ll want to see the top-weight first.'The Ritz Club Chase (at Ascot on February 16) is another possible target as is the Wessex Chase at Wincanton (on February 7) which falls between the two.''He`s in good form and came through his last run well and we`re looking forward to getting him on the track in the near future.'
