Ouija Board and Alexander Goldrun Declared for Re-Match in Leopardstown Ed Dunlop's Ouija Board and Jim Bolger's Alexander Goldrun, who fought out such a memorable finish to the Nassau Stakes at Goodwood in early August, are both declared and set for a fascinating re-match in the Baileys Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown this Saturday. The big two feature among six declared runners for the ?1 million Group One contest which has also attracted Budweiser Irish Derby winner, Dylan Thomas, from the Aidan O'Brien stable. Ouija Board defeated Alexander Goldrun by a short head at Goodwood after a titanic struggle over the last two furlongs and both mares, who have won no fewer than eleven Group One races between them over the last two seasons, are reported to be in fine fettle for this eagerly awaited contest.Aidan O'Brien's Dylan Thomas will be out to give his trainer a fourth victory in this prestigious race in the last seven years and after his below par effort when fourth in the Juddmonte International Stakes at York last month, connections will be hoping that he can re-capture the form that helped him to record an impressive Budweiser Irish Derby success at the Curragh in early July. He will be joined in the race by stable companion Ace, who finished fourth in last year's renewal, while the other two runners are Kevin Prendergast's Mustameet, and Sir Michael Stoute's Rob Roy. Mustameet has been in terrific form all season winning five of his last six races and steps into Group One company for the first time while Rob Roy has been campaigning over a mile on recent outings and finished third to Court Masterpiece in the Sussex Stakes at Goodwood in early August.Click here for declared runners in Baileys Irish Champion StakesOn the same card, nine runners line up in the Group One Coolmore Fusaichi Pegasus Matron Stakes with five English challengers taking on four home trained contenders.
