Passager Team Consider Options

Criquette Head-Maarek has not ruled out the possibility of supplementing Passager for the Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot.

The four-year-old colt, owned by Gary Tanaka, ran a stormer at Newbury on Saturday to get within half a length of Red Evie in the Juddmonte Lockinge Stakes.

Although Head-Maarek missed the deadline for entering Passager in the Queen Anne on June 19, the French handler said: 'We could maybe think about supplementing him but I need to sit down and think about the situation.

'I will also speak to Mr Tanaka and see what he says.

'There is no plan with him just yet but he ran very well at Newbury and I thought at one moment that we had it won.'
