Patrick Mangan Off The Mark at Tramore Patrick Mangan, seventeen-year-old son of Mary and Jimmy, got off the mark under Rules last night at Tramore, on his third attempt, as 16/1 chance Alpine Glade (supported from 25s) led on the climb out of the dip and stayed on strongly to put six lengths between herself and Hollies Favourite in the bumper. Riding this daughter of Oscar for his Father, the Leaving Cert student has eight point-to-point wins to his credit, the first of those coming on Ashstorm at Knockanard in February of 2007. Matt O´Connor, meanwhile, picked up a two day whip ban, for his effort on King Of Kerry in this contest.
