Prendergast´s Mustameet lands Glencairn Stakes Kevin Prendergast´s Mustameet won the Listed Glencairn Stakes at Leopardstown tonight. The 7yo entire, returning from over a year´s absence, defeated three rivals, under Chris Geoghegan, and Prendergast later revealed "Mustameet had been sold to race in India but thankfully the deal fell through!" He added "the race was run as a sprint which wouldn´t have suited him and he´ll go for the one mile Listed Celebration Stakes at The Curragh on Derby weekend next."
