Punchestown target for injured Russell Jockeys´ Championship leader Davy Russell is hopeful of returning to race-riding for the Punchestown Festival. Russell, who is five winner in front of Ruby Walsh, injured his wrist in a fall at Fairyhouse on Tuesday but x-rays have indicated that no bones were broken in the fall. Russell stated "my wrist isn´t too bad. I think I pulled some muscles but I´m hopeful of getting back after a few days rest. Hopefully the damage is not too serious." Russell has also undergone kriotherapy treatment to aid the injured wrist.
