Race Six Enquiry Tipperary The Stewards enquired into the False Start & the Start of this race. They heard evidence from the Starter Mr Peter McGouran , Mr Joe Burns rider of Accordion Brid, Linnamee ridden by Martin Ferris, (both of whom failed to pull up at the false start), Tom Doyle rider of Dead or Alive (who failed to jump off at the start) & Ross Geraghty rider of Magans Pass. The Stewards viewed the video of the false start & start & considered the evidence. They took into consideration the following points that were mentioned in evidence, the low lying sun & the position of the advance flag man. They found the false start had been called correctly & the Starter had effected a fair start ultimately. They however recommended that the advance flag man stand towards the inside rather than the outside for National Hunt races here of 2 miles & 7 furlongs in future.
