Rainbow heads Cup confirmations Former winner Rainbow High headed 27 horses confirmed today for next Wednesday`s Tote Chester Cup. The Barry Hills-trained six-year-old, who took the big stg£100,000 handicap in 1999, finished fifth under top-weight of 9st 13lb last year and is set to carry the same burden this time - with Richard Hughes booked for the ride. Last year`s unlucky-in-running second Ansar, trained in Ireland by Dermot Weld, is also in the line-up again, along with Rainbow High`s stable-companion Prairie Falcon who came home fourth 12 months ago. Sir Michael Stoute has called up leading lightweight jockey Fergal Lynch for Cover Up while Ed Dunlop has booked Allan Mackay for Sudden Flight. Martin Pipe`s two possible runners from four original entries are useful hurdlers Copeland and Guard Duty, the latter successful in the Queen`s Prize at Kempton on his recent return to the Flat.
