Regime Seeks Kilternan Redemption Regime will bid to atone for a disappointing show last time in the Star Air Kilternan Stakes at Leopardstown.The three-year-old was only narrowly beaten in the Prix Eugene Adam but subsequently failed to sparkle in a Group Two event at Deauville.However, Harry Herbert, racing manager for owners Highclere Thoroughbred Racing, believes that contest may not have played to Regime's strengths.'He was a shade disappointing at Deauville, having run such a big race when beaten the shortest of short heads at Maisons-Laffitte,' admitted Herbert.'It was a typical French race though, with the pace stopping and starting, and it probably didn't really suit him.'That was a Group Two and he will be going for Group Three on Saturday but he does have a penalty for winning the Classic Trial earlier in the season.'He's only lightly raced and seems to be in good form so we are hopeful.'It is good to firm at Leopardstown but I should think it is genuinely good to firm in Ireland and not that quick.'We didn't want to try him on quicker ground earlier in the season but we are at the stage of the campaign where we need to learn a bit more about the horse and try it.'We have no real plans for him after Saturday but he's entered in a couple of races on Arc weekend but we'll see how he gets on in Ireland first.'(C) PA Sport
