Russell hopeful of race-riding return in a fortnight

Jockey Davy Russell, runner-up to Ruby Walsh in last year´s Jockeys´ Championship, is hopeful of making a return from a wrist injury in a fortnight.

Russell injured his right wrist in a fall at Killarney recently and today reported "my wrist feels good and is coming along well. I am meeting Dr Paddy Kenny on Tuesday and I´ll then have a comeback day to aim at."
