SANDS FOR SAINT-CLOUD Island Sands, who won the 2000 Guineas two years ago, will face 10 rivals on his seasonal debut in the Group Three Prix Edmond Blanc over a mile at Saint-Cloud on Saturday. Godolphin`s five-year-old, now trained by David Loder, will be having his first race since he finished second in the Group Three Prix Quincey at Deauville in August. He will start from stall nine under Frankie Dettori. Opponents include Andre Fabre`s Prix Fontainebleau winner Berine`s Son.
