Sackville goes for Charlie Hall

Sackville will put his Cheltenham Gold Cup credentials on the line when lining up for the Peterhouse Group Charlie Hall Chase at Wetherby tomorrow.

Frances Crowley`s gelding was only third on his return at Punchestown last month over an inadequate two miles.

But he went eight races unbeaten in a fantastic novice season which had set him out as an outstanding prospect.

A total of 10 runners have been declared for the Stg#50,000 contest.

They include the Paul Nicholls-trained Shotgun Willy, who represents the stable instead of ex-Cheltenham Gold Cup winner See More Business, who won the race last year.

The other eight runners are Sleeping Night (trained by Mary Reveley), Flying Instructor (Paul Webber), Legal Right (Jonjo O` Neill), Streamstown (Ferdy Murphy), Beau (Nigel Twiston-Davies), Folly Road (David Williams), Lord Noelie (Henrietta Knight) and Scotmail Boy (Howard Johnson).

The Grade Two race is run over three miles and a furlong and is one of the key early season chasing highlights.
