Sakhee among Dubai Cup entries Sakhee headed Godolphin`s four initial entries announced today for the Dubai World Cup.The Prix de l`Arc de Triomphe winner would be having only his second race on dirt in the Stg#4.2m contest at Nad Al Sheba on March 23rd next year, after his narrow defeat by Tiznow in last month`s Breeders` Cup Classic at Belmont Park.Also put in the world`s richest race at the first nomination stage is Noverre, who was second in the UAE Guineas on the Dubai sand before showing high-class form on turf in Europe, winning the Sussex Stakes at Goodwood.The stable`s initial team for the 10-furlong contest is completed by UAE Guineas winner Street Cry and E Dubai, who finished second to American star Point Given in the Travers Stakes at Saratoga in August.Godolphin won the Dubai World Cup with Almutawakel in 1999 and Dubai Millennium in 2000, while Singspiel carried the colours of the organisation`s founder Sheikh Mohammed to victory in 1997.A notable rival this time will be Hamdan AlMaktoum`s Dubai Champion Stakes winner Nayef, trained by Marcus Tregoning, who is to be prepared for the race by wintering in Dubai.
