Sander Camillo To Work On The Track At Newmarket Tomorrow Sander Camillo continues her build-up to the Stan James 1000 Guineas on Sunday week with a work-out on the NatWest Rowley Mile at 7.00am tomorrow (Saturday) morning. Her trainer, Jeremy Noseda, will work his star filly over six furlongs with two galloping companions. The Mike De Kock-trained Drayton, on course for a crack at the Stan James 2000 Guineas tomorrow week, will work on the track an hour later at 8.00am. Director of Racing, Michael Prosser, delivered the following ground and weather report this afternoon: 'We put 10 millimetres of water on earlier this week which has held the ground at Good-to-Firm, though it?s a little bit quicker in a couple of places including the bushes two and a half furlongs from the finish. The going stick reading is 10.2. 'The temperature is set to hit a high of 25C over the weekend which could well spark showers on Sunday and Monday. It?s set to cool down thereafter with top temperatures of 16C or 17C so evaporation will be less of a problem, but there is no further rain forecast. If we were to miss the showers, I?ve got plenty of time to irrigate ahead of the Stan James Guineas Festival next weekend. My aim is to ensure decent fast ground with no jar for our most important weekend of the year.'
