Septimus among 13 Curragh Cup entries Septimus could make his eagerly-anticipated first start of the season in the At The Races Curragh Cup on Saturday. Aidan O´Brien´s five-year-old, who won both the Lonsdale and Doncaster Cups last season, skipped a battle with stable companion Yeats at Royal Ascot last week. As well as Septimus, O´Brien has Bashkirov, Hindu Kush and Mikhail Fokine among the 13 entries. The English challenge is headed by last year´s winner Peppertree Lane, while John Dunlop´s improving Samuel, the Brian Meehan-trained Supersonic Dave and Amanda Perratt´s Tungsten Strike are also entered. Kevin Prendergast is doubly represented by Red Moloney and Mores Wells, while John Oxx could run Hassanka. Jim Bolger´s Ezima and the Michael Halford-trained Nick´s Nikita complete the list.
