Setback for Savoire Vivre Godolphin`s Ascot Gold Cup hope Savoire Vivre has met with a slight setback and may not be ready for the Royal meeting, the official Godolphin website has announced. The son of Sadler`s Wells and fillies` Triple Crown winner Oh So Sharp has only ran twice so far in his career, winning an Ascot maiden before finishing runner-up in the Group Two Geoffrey Freer Stakes at Newbury when trained by John Gosden. The news is a further blow to the Dubai organisation, who have already been hit hard by the death of Dubai Millennium and the premature retirement of Sagitta 1000 Guineas second Muwakleh.
