Sewerage overflow threatens Leicester Officials at Leicester will inspect the course on Tuesday after water from a nearby sewerage plant overflowed onto parts of the track. The incident occurred on Saturday morning according to clerk of the course Nick Lees.'Parts of the course together with parts of the nearby Leicester Tigers training ground were affected,' said Lees today. 'We also had 35mm of rain during this period which obviously contributed to this flooding.'This obviously raises a question mark about Wednesday`s meeting going ahead.'We will hold an inspection at 9.00 on Tuesday morning.'
