Sins ´50-50´ For Oaks

Four Sins´ Vodafone Oaks participation hinges on a crucial piece of work next Tuesday.

The German-bred filly, owned by the Aga Khan, was propelled into the higher echelons of the market for the Epsom Classic on June 1 after a flawless success in a Group Three at Naas earlier this month.

Prior to that sparkling display, John Oxx´s daughter of Sinndar ran stablemate and leading Irish 1000 Guineas candidate Arch Swing to a short head at Leopardstown.

But despite her progressive profile, a decision on whether Four Sins lines up in the Oaks will not be made until next week.

'I wouldn´t call her a definite runner at the moment,' Pat Downes, racing manager for the Aga Khan, told At The Races.

'We decided after she won at Naas we would not make a decision until her next piece of work next Tuesday.

'So at the moment, it´s probably 50-50.

'You never know how any horse will handle Epsom until you go there but she does like fast ground.'

Four Sins is as low as 9-1 with Blue Square for the Oaks.
