Sizing Ready To Rule Europe Henry de Bromhead feels he has stable star Sizing Europe as ready as possible for his first major test in Sunday's AIG Europe Champion Hurdle at Leopardstown. The trainer invited big-race partner Andrew McNamara over to his County Waterford yard to put the gelding through his paces for the first time, with a host of pilots unavailable for the ride due to other commitments. The last time Sizing Europe was seen was when he beat Osana in the Greatwood Handicap Hurdle as he missed an engagement in the Leopardstown December Festival Hurdle after scoping badly. In the absence of Champion Hurdler Sublimity, Sizing Europe may well be sent off favourite for Ireland's premier timber event, but he will face a stern Grade One examination from the likes of Al Eile and Hardy Eustace.'He seems really well and Andrew came over this morning to have a sit on him,' said de Bromhead.'He's not ridden him before but we can't have Denis O'Regan as he's banned, Timmy Murphy is riding Al Eile and we can't have Ruby Walsh either.'We will have to see what happens this weekend ? I haven't thought about jockeys for the future just yet.'It's all set up and we're taking on the big boys. I think he is better on better ground and the conditions are not ideal but that's what we've got.'Lounaos, Ebaziyan and Aitmatov complete an elite sextet for the race.(C) PA Sport
