Stablestaff Benevolent Fund To Benefit From Book Sales The Irish Stablestaff benevolent fund will benefit from the sales of a new poetry book written by Rebecca Surman.Surman has an extensive knowledge of the industry and has had spells working for Paddy Mullins and at Grange Stud in Fermoy Co. Cork.She is presently employed at the Irish Equine Centre at Kill.The book which has a strong equine theme can be obtained from most leading bookshops or by contacting the Irish Stablestaff Association on 045-531911.Tickets are also on sale for the second annual Stablestaff Awards Dinner in the Stand House Hotel on 15th January.Tickets are priced at €50 each or €90 per couple. Anyone interested should book early as it is certain to be a sellout following the success of last year´s event.
