Summoner heads Lockinge field Summoner, who sprang a 33-1 surprise as Godolphin`s second string in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes, heads 27 entries for the Juddmonte Lockinge Stakes at Newbury.The four-year-old made all the running at Ascot last September when accounting for his better fancied stable companion Noverre, who is also entered, by a length and a half.Godolphin`s trainer Saeed bin Suroor has put five horses in the Stg£160,000 contest over the straight mile at the Berkshire track on May 18th - the others being Best of the Bests, Masterful and Tempting Fate.James Fanshawe`s Warningford, beaten a neck by Medicean in this race last May and the Geoff Wragg-trained Swallow Flight, who was a neck away third, could do battle again.The sole French entry is Proudwings, a winner in six countries, who was only seventh of eight behind Summoner in the QE II.
