Tattersalls Gold Cup on agenda for Ask

The Tattersalls Gold Cup could be on the agenda for last week´s Sandown winner Ask.

Plans have not been finalised for the Sir Michael Stoute-trained entire, but the Curagh Group One and Epsom´s Coronation Cup are up for consideration.

The five-year-old was restricted to only a handful of runs last season but still managed to finish second in the Canadian International.

He was not tremendously impressive in winning the Gordon Richards Stakes last Friday but connections were still satisfied with the effort.

Simon Christian, racing advisor for Ask´s owner Patrick Fahey, said: "All I have heard is the horse came out of the race very well.

"He had to dig deep but is expected to come on significantly for it.

"He´s well entered up - the Tattersalls and Coronation Cup are both possibilities - but I don´t think they have made their mind up yet."
