Teslin Bids For Cambridgeshire Hat-Trick Brian Ellison's Teslin bids for a hat-trick as he steps up in class for tomorrow's totesport.com Cambridgeshire at Newmarket. The three-year-old was on the mark at Beverley and Newmarket on his last two starts but he faces a much tougher assignment in the ultra-competitive nine-furlong heat.Ellison's daughter and assistant trainer, Lorraine, said: 'He's in great form and he's come out of his last race really, really well. We couldn't be happier with him.'I think he'd be fine on good ground and he probably wouldn't want it any worse.'In theory we would love to have been drawn somewhere around 11-17, but now we have five we will just have to cope with it.'Teslin outpointed Luca Cumani's well-fancied Monte Alto on his penultimate start in a race that has subsequently thrown up other winners.'It was a fantastic run at Beverley and the others have come out and won good races. The form has worked out very well and I do think he's an improving horse,' Ellison told At The Races.Impeller finished unplaced in this race in 2003, 2004 and 2005 when trained by William Muir and is now trying his luck for Stan Moore.'He's in good form, but he's a horse that needs everything to drop right for him. He's got plenty of ability,' said Moore.'If things do drop right for him he'd have a good each-way chance.'He's the type of horse that can be suited by that sort of race.'The pair feature in a maximum field of 35 which also includes hot favourite Pipedreamer, although John Gosden has warned that his charge will only run if the ground is suitable. There are two reserves ? Wind Star and Humble Opinion. As well as Championship Point, others withdrawn include European Dream, Ragheed, Ekhtiaar and sole Irish entry Mombassa.(C) PA Sport
