Eugene O'Sullivan saddled a 90/1 double in Listowel when Themanintheanorak won the concluding bumper by six lengths.

The 20/1 shot was noted making headway in third with more than five furlong to race in this two and a-half miler.

He travelled smoothly into second for Alan O'Sullivan approaching the straight and picked off Angelo Dundee up the straight.

The new leader stayed on stoutly in the final furlong to win decisively. Soldiers World finished his race off well in second at 9/2 as Angelo Dundee (2/1) dropped to third.

Trainer O'Sullivan was also responsible for Bugs Moran (10/3) in the hunters chase.

He said: "He is a Pour Moi and myself and Tom (Singleton, owner) bought him on the strength of Bugs Moran's form (another by sire Pour Moi), when Noel Meade had him. It's funny that both horses have ended up in the same yard.

"He should have won in Tallow when he fell at the second-last and then got injured in Lismore. He isn't the best of jumpers, but then again isn't that bad either, and you could say the same about Bugs Moran.

"He'll improve and is a nice horse to have."
