Henry Cecil's Tranquil Tiger is reported to be on target for the totesport Ebor at York on Wednesday week.

As low as 8-1 with Blue Square for the £200,000 contest, the Prince Khalid Abdullah-owned three-year-old was beaten just over three lengths by Yellowstone in the Gordon Stakes at Goodwood on his last start.

'He is very much on target for the Ebor,' said Teddy Grimthorpe, Abdullah's racing manager.

'He wasn't beaten far at all last time and it was a very muddling race at Goodwood. He has come out of it well and it would have done him the world of good.'
