Time Is Now For Wachman

Breeders´ Cup Juvenile Turf winner Nownownow is set to have his first start for David Wachman in the stanjamesuk.com 2000 Guineas.

Fab Oak Stable, who own the colt, moved him from America where he was trained by Patrick Biancone and then by his assistant Francois Parisel, who took over when Biancone was handed a suspension by the US authorities.

Nownownow was transformed when switched to grass in the States and arrived in Ireland for a conventional Classic preparation.

"The plan is to go to the Guineas at the moment," said Wachman.

"The ground over here is so bad we have not given him a race. He seems a very nice horse and it´s a pleasure to have him in the stable."

Wachman has several other Newmarket Guineas entries with Great War Eagle, a close fourth to Jupiter Pluvius last season, in the 2000 and promising maiden Charlotte Bronte engaged in the 1000.

"We really need to see how they work over the next week before we make a decision with them," Wachman added.
