Tipperary Rescheduled - Ballinrobe Cancelled Horse Racing Ireland have announced today (Wednesday 6th April 2005) that there will be a replacement fixture at Tipperary racecourse on Wednesday 4th May (e) to replace tomorrow´s (Thursday 7th April) fixture which had been lost due to waterlogging.HRI have approved the request from the Ballinrobe Race Committee to cancel the Wednesday 4th May (e) meeting scheduled for the course as a major redevelopment programme will not be fully completed by that date. 'The new weigh-room complex, plus renovations in the stable-yard, will be completed in time for the 30th & 31st May two-day meeting. We are setting our sights on getting another meeting later in the year, which will keep our total of meetings for the year.' said John Flannelly, manager, Ballinrobe Racecourse.
