Tramore to arrange Saturday´s race times around Derby meeting.

Tramore racecourse is to rearrange race times so that the Co Waterford track is to enable racegoers to view the Epsom Derby.

RTE Network 2 is to show the race live with racecourse manager Sue Phelan reporting 'we´re going to make sure that racegoers are able to see the big race. We structured the times of our races on the assumption that the Derby was off at 4pm. We will now revert to running the races on the hour and half-hour to prevent a clash with the Derby.'
