United Heading To Punchestown United bypasses an outing at Ayr tomorrow in order to wait for a crack at the Champion 4-Y-O Hurdle at the Punchestown Festival later this month. Lucy Wadham´s charge is unbeaten in both of her British starts, routing a field of maidens at Huntingdon in February before landing a competitive event at Stratford last month, where she won by five lengths from the useful Pay Attention and Voy Por Ustedes with the fourth, sixth, seventh and eighth havingwon since. Mrs Wadham said: 'She is waiting for Punchestown, where we will go for the Grade One for four-year-olds. 'She´s fine - it´s only been a month since her last run and we decided that we could only get one more race out of her this season so we will go for a good prize. 'She deserves a go at a good race after two great runs and the form from the last one has worked out really well with lots of winners coming from the race.' However, The Dark Lord, another of Mrs Wadham´s flag-bearers who scored twice at Cheltenham before Christmas, may not be seen out again this season. The eight-year-old most recently finished third to Holland Park at Aintree last Friday. 'I will give him a week but I think it was probably his last run for the season,' she added. 'He has run brilliantly again and is up another 2lb for Aintree. He´ll probably go chasing next season.' ? PA Sport
