Volta in good form ahead of Derby Aidan O´Brien issued an upbeat bulletin about Alessandro Volta ahead of tomorrow´s classic at the Curragh. O´Brien is set to saddle five in the race, with Alessandro Volta and Washington Irving looking the main hopes. "Alessandro Volta is in good form. The Epsom horses have all come forward since then," said O´Brien. "Alessandro Volta is a good long striding horse who stays well. He is strong willed and will put his head out in a finish. He´s a good mover but I don´t think the ground will be a problem.?
