Walsh Return Imminent Ruby Walsh should be available for some choice rides over the festive period after receiving a positive appraisal from his surgeon.The jockey has been sidelined since dislocating his shoulder after taking a crashing fall aboard the ill-fated Willyanwoody at Cheltenham on November 17.Walsh has since missed big-race wins on Kauto Star, Denman and Twist Magic, but is now expecting to be back in the saddle at Thurles on December 23.His sister and agent Jennifer Walsh said: 'Ruby saw his surgeon on Thursday night and he was very happy with him.'It'll be five weeks (since he was injured) next Saturday, and the doctor will pass him the following Saturday (December 22).'He'll be riding again at Thurles on Sunday week.'(C) PA Sport
