Walsh and Byrne in wars over Limerick incident Jockey Ruby Walsh was severely cautioned by stewards over an incident at Limerick today in which rider Josh Byrne received a five day suspension following two incidents, one before and one after passing the winning post. Having viewed the videos of the race and considered the evidence of both riders, the Stewards were of the opninion that Walsh had ridden carelessly in the first incident and severely cautioned him as to his future responsibilities in this regard. Furthermore the Stewards were of the opinion that Byrne had ridden improperly in the second incident and suspended him for five race days.
