Walsh back in action

Champion jump jockey Ruby Walsh returns to action with two rides at Clonmel tomorrow.

Walsh has been on the sidelines for more than seven weeks after dislocating his hip in a fall from Johnny Ringo in a handicap hurdle on the opening day of the Listowel festival on September 24th.

He has been booked to ride True Blue Victory in the Cashel Maiden Hurdle and An Modh Direach in the Suir Handicap Chase after being given the go ahead by Turf Club medical officer Walter Halley.

Both horses are trained by his father Ted, who said: 'He`s OK and rides tomorrow. He`s got the all clear - he`s back in action.'
