Walsh jnr happy with Cheltenham going Katie Walsh, daughter of trainer Ted, gave the Cheltenham ground the thumbs up after partnering hurdler Make My Day in a spin at the track today.She said: 'It`s perfect ground out there at the moment and there`s definitely a bit of cut in it. Its good ground probably good to soft in places which is fair to everybody.'Walsh`s Tote Cheltenham Gold Cup hope Commanche Court, due to be partnered by his son Ruby, is due to arrive at the Prestbury Park racecourse stables tomorrow.However, the trainer`s other three runners No Discount (Fulke Walwyn Kim Muir Challenge Cup), Bob Justice (Coral Eurobet Cup) and Make My Day (Pertemps Final) are already in the stables.The remainder of the huge Irish contingent which will number around 70 horses including Smurfit Champion Hurdle favourite Istabraq are due to arrive at Cheltenham tomorrow lunchtime.Walsh`s eldest son Ted Junior stated he wanted no rain at the track to help the chances of Commanche Court saying: 'The less rain thebetter as we want good ground for the horse.'When pressed on his banker for the three-day Festival he immediately replied: 'Istabraq in the Champion Hurdle. There are only three certainties in life - death, tax, and Istabraq for the Champion!'
