Weld gets Derby day winner with Beauty Dermot Weld, trainer of Derby runner-up Casual Conquest, paid a visit to the winner´s enclosure later on the card when Profound Beauty carted top-weight to success in the Dubai Duty Free 25th Anniversary Handicap. Pat Smullen kicked for home over a furlong-and-a-half out on the Danehill filly and she galloped on resolutely to take 1m4f contest in good style. "It was a good weight carrying performance from a class mare. She has been consistent in group company all year and deserved the win," said Weld. "She wants a bit of ease in the ground and the further she goes the better she goes. We might look at the Ebor for her. 1m6f at York would be a logical race but it depends on the handicapper." Lisvale could be set for some globe trotting later in the year after pouncing inside the final furlong to claim the Celebration Stakes from front-runner Jumbajukiba. "It was a very good ride from Wayne (Lordan). He was wise to what was happening and made up a couple of lengths on the leader at the right time," said winning trainer David Wachman. "He could come back here in two weeks time and he could go to America later in the year." The concluding two mile handicap produced another thrilling finish with Athlumney Lad sticking his head out close home to land the spoils.
