Workout for Kentucky hope Cry Street Cry, one of Godolphin`s Kentucky Derby hopes, looked on good terms with himself in his first major workout since arriving in the United States. The UAE 2000 Guineas winner galloped over five furlongs in 1m 2.4s under Lee Roebuck at Churchill Downs on Wednesday. Eric Coatrieux, the Godolphin assistant, said: 'It was easy enough. He just did what he had to do. We didn`t ask him for any more than that.' Coatrieux stressed that the work was designed primarily to keep Street Cry ticking over. He added: 'We just wanted an easy work so he could see the track and everything around. He`s in shape already.' Express Tour, Godolphin`s other Kentucky Derby contender, continues to make good progress after bruising a foot at the weekend and is expected to return to the track tomorrow. Point Given, the Kentucky Derby favourite, arrived at Churchill Downs on Wednesday.
