The pair head a list of 46 entries at the final forfeit stage for the feature race of next weeks Galway Festival. The duo will carry the top weight of 11st 10lb's. Six British horses have stood their ground including Iron Man and Hoo La Baloo, who finished first and second in the Summer Plate at Market Rasen last week. The home defence will be headed by the dual William Hill Galway Plate winner Ansar, who will be bidding to record an eight win at the Ballybrit venue next week. The sponsors make Cool Running and Ansar their 8-1 joint favourites for the ?220,000 contests, while the well backed Conna Castle is 9-1 next best with the bookmakers.
