Ba Ba Blows Rivals Away Good Ba Ba put up a superlative display to secure a fourth straight Group One win in the Champions Mile at Sha Tin. Andreas Schutz´s charge routed his rivals under Olivier Doleuze in a manner which suggests his local invincibility could be extended to foreign shores later in the year. The Hong Kong Mile winner toyed with his rivals under an ultra-confident Doleuze, scoring with such authority that his rider was able to stand up in the irons and salute the crowd before crossing the line. Armada chased the winner through but was a long-looking length behind at the line, with a yawning gap to Bullish Luck in third. Schutz wants to keep the 8-15 winner in Hong Kong for his next start but will consider targets in Japan and the United States. "I was very fortunate to get this horse last season and have always had great faith in him," said Schutz. "Even so, I couldn´t imagine we would do the clean sweep in mile races as well as the Queen´s Silver Jubilee. "The way he won today, it looks as if nothing can beat him. I was a little bit worried that he might hit the front too soon but in the wink of an eye he was two lengths clear of Armada. "I think one of the keys to his success has been keeping him at the same distance, but whatever happens it´s hard to imagine he can improve on what he´s achieved this season. "We have the option of Japan or America but it´s odds-on he´ll go for another race here." Doleuze saluted his mount, adding: "Today is the greatest feeling in my life, and today the horse goes into history because he´s won all the Group One races." Armada´s jockey, Douglas Whyte, had "no complaints" and said: "I had a beautiful trip but the winner was just too good." (C) PA Sport
