Bansha House Stables, in County Tipperary, who last year consigned Group 1 winning two-year-olds Amadeus Wolf and Palace Episode, are to sponsor the banshahousestables.com European Free Handicap (Listed Race) at Newmarket on Wednesday, April 19.

Con Marnane, owner of Bansha House, said: 'We are proud and delighted to be sponsoring for the first time this very important Guineas trial on the second day of the Tattersalls Breeze-Up Sale.'

Lisa Hancock, Managing Director of Newmarket Racecourses, said: 'Bansha House Stables made a huge impact on the British racing scene last year when they consigned both the Shadwell Middle Park Stakes winner, Amadeus Wolf, and the Racing Post Trophy winner, Palace Episode. We are thrilled to welcome them to Newmarket as sponsors at the Craven Meeting in April and, you never know, we might see Amadeus Wolf and Palace Episode fighting out the finish of the Stan James 2000 Guineas here three weeks later!'
