Barton not certain for Arkle Cheltenham Festival options remain open for Barton and Turgeonev as trainer Tim Easterby continues to mull over plans for his two stable stars.Barton is 5-1 second-favourite with Paddy Power for the Irish Independent Arkle Chase over two miles, but yesterday was one of 42 horses entered for the Cathcart Challenge Cup over two miles, five furlongs.Easterby said: 'The aim is the Arkle but I`ve put him in the Cathcart and we`ve yet to decide which race he will run in. I`m thinking about it.'Hero of the 1999 Royal & SunAlliance Novices` Hurdle, Barton will be bidding for a five-timer at Cheltenham, having thrashed Errand Boy 30 lengths at Newcastle on his latest start in January.Turgeonev is generally a 16-1 chance for the Queen Mother Champion Chase, and looked a much-improved performer when landing the Victor Chandler Chase at Ascot before being pulled up behind Foly Pleasant at Cheltenham last time. However, Easterby added: 'I`m not sure if he`ll run in the Champion Chase or not, the Grand Annual looks tempting.'
