Beo On Coronation Trail

Finsceal Beo is set to clash again with French 1000 Guineas winner Darjina in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Darjina denied Jim Bolger´s star filly a Classic treble when just inching her out at Longchamp last month.

However, Finsceal Beo will try to avenge that defeat after connections decided against stepping her up in trip to 10 furlongs.

Bolger told the Racing Post: 'Finsceal Beo is very well since the Curragh and she goes for the Coronation Stakes next.'

The trainer could also be represented in the St James´s Palace Stakes by Creachadoir, who finished second in both the French and Irish 2000 Guineas.

Bolger added: 'We have him in the Jersey Stakes as well as the St James´s Palace but we just thought the way he´s going at home now, he could be in there with a good chance in the St James´s Palace.'
