Bolger mulls French trip with Luce Prima Luce could make a quick return to action in the French 1000 Guineas at Longchamp on Sunday. Jim Bolger´s filly sprang a 33/1 surprise in Monday´s Athasi Stakes at the Curragh and the trainer is now mulling over the classic bid. "She worked very well a month ago and was going to run but her blood sample wasn´t quite right and for 10 days afterwards she was very quiet and wasn´t very well," said Bolger. "She bounced back in the last couple of weeks, I took the chance of running her yesterday and it came off. "If the ground at Longchamp came up very soft I´d give serious consideration to running there as she is very well. "If it´s anything other than soft, we will miss it as it will be a hot race." Aidan O´Brien, who landed the 2000 Guineas with Henrythenavigator at the weekend, will head to France in search of further Classic glory. "We´ve got Lucifer Sam, One Great Cat and Georgebernardshaw entered in the colts´ race," he said. "Then there´s Halfway to Heaven and Psalm in the fillies´ race and at the moment they´re all intended runners." Owner Khalid Abdullah could be double-handed with Conference Call and Modern Look. The two fillies made pleasing seasonal debuts last month despite having to settle for second place. The David Smaga-trained Modern Look went down by a length and a half to subsequent Newmarket 1000 Guineas heroine Natagora at Maisons-Laffitte, while Pascal Bary´s Conference Call chased home Zarkava at Longchamp. "They both run on Sunday. Both were second in their respective races but the form is good," said the owner´s racing manager, Teddy Grimthorpe.
