Brogan on the mend after Navan fall Amateur rider David Brogan was today reported to be making good progress following his fall at Navan on Sunday. Dr Walter Halley, of the Turf Club, said: "David has been moved out of the high dependency ward in Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda to a normal ward. "He is making good progress and is in a stable condition." Brogan suffered a "serious head injury and severe concussion" when Mummys Pearl slipped up approaching halfway in the bumper on Sunday.
