Careless Riding Ban at Gowran Race Five The Stewards enquired into an incident after the start of this race involving Metal Madness, ridden by Danny Mullins and Turk, ridden by Emmett McNamara, where it appeared that the former clipped heals and stumbled. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned and also from Mr P Martin representing Danny Mullins. Having viewed the video of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Emmett McNamara had ridden carelessly and suspended him for one raceday.
